Sydney’s most expensive homes in 2015

Now that 2015 is over, it’s interesting to look back of some of Sydney’s most expensive house sales in 2015..

The top sale price goes to James Packer and Erica Baxter for their former home in Wentworth Road in Vaucluse of $70m. It easily beat the previous record held by Altona in Point Piper which sold for $52m in 2013. The home was purchased by Chinese property developer Dr Chau Chak Wing, who lives primarily in China but is an Australian resident.

The Eastern Suburbs definitely takes the award for most expensive houses in 2015, but we’ve also highlighted sales around Sydney with the highest priced home featured in each area. Many of the below sales have established new suburb records.
